Hayley North – Yoga/Movement Teacher & Holistic Chef
Hayley originally trained in dance at The Merseyside Dance & Hayley North – Yoga/Movement Teacher & Holistic ChefDrama Centre, The Urdang Academy of Performing Arts and the London Contemporary Dance School.

Later she completed a 3yr Yoga Teacher Training at Natural Bodies in Brighton and has been teaching consistently since 2002, both in the UK and internationally.

Classes are a deep yet playful exploration, via the physical body, into yoga as a state of being. Through guided movement, breathwork and asana practice students are encouraged to explore deep within the body, identify and undo habitual patterns of tension, and allow a more primal intelligence to unfold. Working from a space that invites movement as an expression of the breath and the fluid awakening of the spine – from a place of ‘not-doing‘ – the body mind begins to find integration and its connection back into universal forces and our place within nature.

The emphasis is on creativity and stillness in movement. Using ancient traditions and complimentary practices to provide grounding and the framework for adaptation, this approach encourages individuality and self- expression, is heart-felt and transformative.

Inspiration comes from Dance, Yoga, Chinese Healing Arts, Kinetic Integration, Feldenkrais, Contact Improvisation, Continuum Movement, Body Mind Centering, Shammanic movement practices, Krishnamurti….nature, life, living, and love.

Rosie Blunden – Reflexologist &Trainee Yoga Teacher
Rosie Blunden – Reflexologist &Trainee Yoga TeacherRosie stepped into the world of movement and body work in 2005 when she began her training as a reflexologist. At the same time she discovered yoga inspired by the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli. Rosie worked closely with and was taught yoga by Hayley North for years, being encouraged to discover her own body rhythm and look to nature for inspiration. From here began her journey of self exploration, which she feels would be incomplete without our privilege of each other’s reflection, and that with nature. Rosie went on to complete a yoga teacher training course in India which focused on meditation, chanting, and traditional Indian hatha and ashtanga yoga. After embodying the traditional essence of yoga, she then returned to England to complete further studies inspired by V Scaravelli, taught by Gary Cater. This course focused on anatomy and learning to read the body’s internal and external environment influenced by intelligent movement.

As a qualified reflexologist of 6 years, Rosie was interested in how she could work with women through this form and so in 2010 decided to study reflexology for fertility. This is a practice that she considerer’s sacred and therefore wants to tread lightly on this journey, working with people when the need arises. Rosie continues to practice reflexology in Brighton, at festivals and on retreats.

When not working with or studying body work, Rosie continues to work with children and food. As a qualified playworker and a current teaching assistant at a special needs school, Rosie cares about child development, communication and our daily impact on children as adults. As part of this Rosie is also immensely passionate about nutrition for children, and is using her own food journey to discover the nutritional nourishment we have available to us today. Rosie has worked as a cook in children’s nurseries, festivals and yoga retreats and is constantly working towards combining her experience as a practitioner to be able to offer information to children and adults alike.
